The problem

Two bikes. Both say 56.

Every brand measures a 56 differently. The number on the frame is a label, not a size. What matters is stack and reach, and whether your body can hold that position for four hours.

56Race frameReach too long. Bars too low. You'd fix it with a stubby stem and still never feel right.

56Endurance frameSame label, 20 mm taller at the front. For some riders that's the one. For others it's the opposite problem.

How we measure

You first. Then the bike.

We put you on a fully adjustable fit bike and set it to your body, not to a model. 3D motion capture watches your knees track, a pressure map shows where your weight actually sits, and we adjust until it's right.

Someone told us a fit is 15% of the bike and hard to justify. Fair enough. So we changed it. Now it's 0%.

Bikes sold at their normal price. The £195 is deducted at the point of ordering your bike, within 90 days of your fit.

Before you book

I already know which bike I want.

Good. The fit tells you which size of it, and whether the frame you've picked is really the one. Most people are one size out, or on the wrong frame shape for their body.

I'm not near Edinburgh.

One trip. You leave with your numbers and your shortlist, we order and build to those numbers, and the second fit happens when you collect or when the bike arrives.

I ride flat pedals and trainers.

Fine. Any bike, any pedals, any rider. Bring whatever you ride in now.

What do I get on the day?

Two hours on the fit bike, your position dialled in, and a detailed XY report plus measurement file. That file is what we use to shortlist frames and build the bike.

What if I don't buy a bike?

Then you've paid £195 for your numbers and a clear answer on what to buy, which you can take anywhere. The money-back only applies when you buy through us.
